2011 What's up June 8-21 in Jinja, Uganda

Our mission trip in 2011 will have a team of 9 participating. Four from last year's team and five first time mission folks. It should be both fun and rewarding! The construction team will be finishing benches for the newly completed Lubas Conference Center as part of the Lubas School for pastors. The widows and orphans team will be visiting a selection of ministries connected to Mission Link International. One weekend the team will be working in Pastor Phillip's church and community (Gospel presentations on Saturday as we go house to house with our Evangecubes). This will be our second time with Pastor Phillip. The other weekend we will be visiting Pastor Ronnie's church in West Njera (just outside of Jinja). During our first visit to Jinja in 2009 we met Ronnie, Bossa John, and Bulime Joel along with several fine young men with a heart for our Lord. John has spent the past year studying at the Luba pastor's school. Please pray for safety of our group as Uganda has also struggled with protests, so far, with less severity than elsewhere in the world. Maranatha!
